We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
Those are, of course, the words from our very own Declaration of Independence. We were pissed, and rightly so.
Today, we are witnessing the overturn of our government in a myriad of ways. No, we aren't in open rebellion, but we have sent a strong message, beginning with the Civil Rights Movement and on today, into the movement for LGBT+ rights, that we will not tolerate our secular government treating citizens as second-class on the basis of religious beliefs.
Of course, we still have many long miles to travel on the road towards a truly secular government, but I am cheered by the victories for marriage equality that we have seen and what they mean for religious liberty--TRUE religious liberty--in our nation.
Skyy Vodka and the Freedom to Marry campaign have partnered to create some great events around the nation, encouraging people to celebrate marriage equality.
As we have so many momentous rulings for equality, it's truly something to celebrate.
